Mercruiser 250 D-Tronic

Anyone got first hand experience of these engines?

Reliability, running costs etc?

I must go down to the sea again to the lonely sea and the sky
All I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by
the wheels kick and the winds song and the white sails shaking
a grey mist on the seas face and grey dawn breaking

Hi Mate,

as far as I am aware the engines apear to be quite reliable, but mine wasn't, nothing but expense and trouble for over 2 years.
but as you are from Scotland, a friend of mine is just about to move up there, and he has extensive knolidge about these engines,
the problem I had was service, what service????

al the best
