mariner 6hp 4 stroke guidance required

Hi,
i'm new to all this so please any help is appreciated
i have the above outboard but my question is:

i have the additional 12 l fuel tank and line, and of course i open the breather valve on top of the cannister, my question is this, is the inbuilt tank built into the engine then completely cut off ? and do i need to do anything with the breather screw on the built in petrol tank itself, does it need to be open or closed or does not matter ?

Thanks, Andy

Hi Andy. There will be a selector switch on the side of the outboard to select internal or external tank. Whichever tank you select will need the breather to be open
