How to increase the performance of a Suzuki 250DF?

Does anyone have experience with tuning up this engine?
Is it possible to reprogram the ECU?
Can the rev. limiter be modified?
Are there any easy mechanical ways of squeezing out some more juice from this engine?

Thanks for the advice

Simplest and cheapest way is always to buy a bigger (higher hp) motor. The new Merc 300xs would probably suit your needs!

I'm sure all those things are possible, but I haven't seen any evidence of a Suzuki tuning scene - at least in the UK
