You would think so wouldn't you, but I've given it a good hard look and I can't even see how to get it off. I'm guessing it's recessed torxs underneath the unit but it's an absolute sod to get at.

I'm hoping the nipples I've bought aren't cheapo. Cost about 4, stainless with stainless spring.

I hope you bought a box as I bet when you tighten them up the nipple is pointing the wrong way.... Been here!

A washer under it would fix that issue?

Just have to cross that bridge when I come to it....PTFE tape ?

grease nipples don't usually have a flange to seat against thread lock would be the answer worst case or a slight adjustment with a tap
