No that isn't what I said, I implied that you will need to take 4 tanks of petrol to be really safe.

Our club dive boat has the 85hp version. Our dive sites are about 20 miles offshore and one tank just gets us there or occasionally we have to change on route and then another change on the way back. The fourth can is a spare just incase.

No worries, and if anything does go wrong you can always call Dave Mallet and his mates.

Your oil rig btw is in about 10 metres of water, might be a good fishing trip and the Isle of Man easily do able.

John has a gas rig just off the coast, locals go down there at night time just to look at the lights

Liverpool bay, been there for a few years now. The whole area including Johns house sits on a series of small gas fields.

That's interesting to know, I've been past it on trips from Wales up to Morecambe bay but never been near. I'll have to go and have a snoop. Touch wood as well I have a weekend away planned for the isle of man in August for my birthday going from Fleetwood

The locals around here get excited about the shinny light things in the sea of a night. They do ritual dances and pray for a burgerking on Lord street
