Evinrude 150 to 250 change

I’m selling my Evinrude 150hp FICHT from 1998 with all the upgrades from Bombardier and buy an Evinrude 250hp DI from 2003. I want to keep all the gauges, wires, cables, etc.
Does someone know if it’s possible to connect the old cables etc. to the new engine?
Is the prop connection the same for both engines?
Thanks for the answers.

If the propconnection is the same, you will need a bigger prop for this engine.
I think I have one 25 p SS left over. Maybe it's something for you ?

I think you can use the same gauges. But isn't the new engine complete with gauges ?

Dan.

All cables, control box etc should be the same. The new engine will come with a diff gauge and a fuel flow meter. You will not need to fit either if you do not wish as your old gauge should have a system check on it.

Engine should come with prop but if you do not specify at time of ordering will prob. come with 14.75 X 19 viper stainless.

Cheers

John
