Hate to drag this back up, but i'm going to anyway
. Redbay say the Volvo D6 might fit afterall, but at 750kg (about 200 more than the KAD300) is it worth it. It chucks out 300 Horsepower at the prop (Kad300 manages 272). Basically, ignoring all the other benefits (and disadvantages) of a common rail diesel, is this extra 25-30 HP enough to shove the extra 200kg? And what effect will torque play, bearing in mind the D6 produces considerably more than the KAD300?
Thanks in advance for your help and again sorry for bringing it back up, but it's an important decision and i intend to get it right.
