I'm not sure what i expected really. I did have look for some old data I remember seeing that fletcher used to publish showing top speed with different outboards. I seem not remember not much top end improvement for a fair amount of hp, but I'm not sure if I remember it correctly. The acceleration improvement is good, the top end a little disappointing I suppose. Do you think the ally prop may be a limiting factor?

I will be happier with a S/S prop and a clean hull, to then see what it does in comparrison with the other 6.5's round here that have 175 & 225 honda's on.

Try www.kcr.se they have chip for both mercruiser and the volvo d engines.
