Hi Gilly,
If it was my money I’d be looking at;
Suzuki DF20
Tohatsu 20 efi
Mercury 20 efi

All fuel injected and all currently the lightest 20’s out there - between 44 & 46kg.

Edit; The new Tohatsu and Mercury both essentially the same motor (manufactured by Tohatsu) but the Merc has a fancy all singing/dancing tiller which carries a slight weight penalty.

any of the big names but best if you have a dealer near you for servicing if you need/want to keep the warranty up

Hmmm! I'll have to try that, I've had no luck with feathers so far this year.

Bear in mind that some dealers are more helpful if you buy the engine from them than cheap on the net and then expect them to service/warranty it. People who buy engines from them may get higher priority especially at peak times.
