Balance your prop

Dropped our Laser II off at propellersolutions last week to have it check balanced.

Was way out.

Now it's back on the slow speed side to side shimmy is reduced and it feels like the boat's a little faster. 41-42 knots easily attainable now where 39-40 was all it wanted to do before.

All for £30.

Looking forward to seeing what some modifications to the Vengence propeller will do. Reducing the pitch by an inch and increasing the cupping.

Any obvious dings in it ? or were the blades just forced off position by general use, and if so how do you prevent that ? if it hasnt been hit.

How did they balance it? Static or dynamic (running it though water).
