Auxiliary for a 7.8m

Just on the hunt for an auxiliary for my Ballistic 7.8.

Now, I realise that ideally I'd be using an 8-10hp.However, an 8-10hp 4 stroke is going to be quite big and while I'd quite like to get a long shaft 9.8 Tohatsu 2 stroke, they are in fairly short supply.

I'm not buying new-it'll be removed every time and will get a fair beating to the cosmetics in the back of the car. I could do with getting one before silly season starts as well

So... as ideally I want to be able to use fuel in it that can also be chucked into the main tank (or vice versa), does anyone have any experience of a 6hp 4 stroke (or 2 stroke at a push) with a saildrive or high thrust prop on a boat of this size? Or the same size motor with a standard prop?
