Aux Engine For Ribtec 655

Hey All,

I upgraded my Rib last week to a Ribtec 655 Camel Trophy. It is running a single 200 Opti and was just wondering what peoples opinions are on aux engines for this type of setup. Ive done a search on here on the topic with some saying store in the boat and dont leave on the transom and others saying leave on??

Im thinking of a 2 stroke 5 hp of some description and on a transom mount.

What do people think??

They normally say 1hp for every metre so a 6hp or 8hp would work nicely.

Anything smaller is probably a little bit under powered.
