Anodes.

Anyone know where I can get Anodes from for a mariner 150hp mag3
hopefully cheaper than the £110 was quoted for the set from local dealer!

Mariner are under mercury, and there a photo of each one too.

if they dont have the right one they have universal ones you can bolt on anywhere too to suppliment your genuine one.

mostly they seem to be under £30

I read somewhere (probably RIB Intl) that a good "cheat" on anodes is to get a gash one from a much bigger boat, and hang it over the transom on a bit of steel cable, to save the engine anodes.

Obviously only when on a mooring, not under way...

I have heard of swinging the Lead........but not the zinc
