Tried switching of the "bog roll" in the user CP & get this helpful message:-

"You did not enter the correct format for the Apparently pointless question field. Please read the field description for the expected format. "

Tried several times & gave up. I'm using a netbook & have a bloody great empty section down one side of the screen, what's the point, don't like it (if you hadn't guessed)

There's a field at the top of the page that you need to fill in. It's part of the anti-spammer defences, and is only really intended to affect new registrations, but anyone who registered before that extra field was added will need to fill it in before they can save any changes to their options.

I'll get it updated for everyone so this problem wil go away, but in the meantime the answer's boat

Cheers, I hadn't seen the apparently useles question. I'd assumed that seeing as I was logged in, it would know I was genuine. All sorted now.
