"Summer hours are generally based on 9am to 6.30/7.30pm with 2 or 3 evenings a week over 6 days. Weekend working is required, peak season this is approx 60-70 hours per week.

Winter hours are based on Monday to Friday for maintenance work (including a 6 week dry dock period) and any weekend and evening charters that are taken – usually 48 hours per week.

Rates of pay - £7.50 per hour (monthly payroll), plus a £10 charter bonus per shift – accumulated for payment in April, September and December."

Do you consider these rates of pay, adequate for a Boatmaster?
