Zapcat racing this weekend

Is anyone on here heading down to Stokes Bay for the first zapcat race of the year? I'm heading down on Sunday to take photos but am unable to get there on saturday.

Cheers

Tim

Very exciting conditions for Craig and the Team out in the Solent this weekend.

Blowing a hooley was fairly accurate Tim! 8 or 9 of us went to Stokes beach on Sat. to cheer Craig on. He came first in one of his races and took a breather after someone else landed on his engine! Kieran (Gemini) had it sorted in no time. Have to admit we all retired to the caff for some shelter for a while

Wind stayed mainly Southerly and the Zapcats really took flight when they turned towards the IOW...

Lots more races on Sunday and a couple of us watched from the water this time before going for a spin ourselves. (Nice boat there Marki !)

Well done Craig & Team Luna Sea on such a strong performance in very challenging conditions!

May you go from strength to strength!!!

Thanks again for all the support. I spoke to Kris last nite and he went and got his arm checked and is fine now.

This weekend was more of a learning curve for us but we are very pleased to have got our very 1st place in are very first race on saterday. This weekend was more of a learing curve for us and we learnt alot. Our very forst race on sunday we managed to get out in front for about 4 laps and that was aginst one of the biggest teams in the championship Wilson James (the one with the posh paint job) but then we had some problems and lost a couple of places.

We are so happy with how we did and are looking forward to the next one.

Thanks all you that supported me
