You learn something new every day.

I bought my Daughter a CD for Christmas, when the CD was playing on the computer an incorrect track listing for the songs came up in Media Player. I assummed that this information was on the CD, so took the offending Item back to Asda's where I bought it from and swapped it for another copy.

I bought this copy home and popped it in the computer and same problem I wasn't very happy as Andrea wanted it in her new MP3 Player.

I contacted the Distributers and found out that the Track information is not on the CD but online and when the CD is loaded the information is downloaded into media player.

The record company deals with this and has been informed so as to update and correct this info for this particular CD.

How clever is that!

See, a 40 year old can still be amazed

Well I kinda knew that as in recent months I've have a heap of trouble with Spyware and Malware. Thanks to Olly once again .

I recon that the UK is one of the most spyed upon countries in the World.......Big Brother is watching you.

I've heard that they even have facial recognition abilities from cameras mounted in cats eye's built into our motorways and with Biometrics soon at every port of entry?

Is that why Sky stipulate that your satallite reciever is connected to a phone line at all times?

Its not so much that they're spying on you Mark. They just want your Kids to play games online without their parents permission .

Do they?! Mine isn't and never has been connected to a phone line-but then I'm a tight git and I refuse to shell out for Sky TV so we're on the free package.

Nos
Only if you pay for one of them card thingies. I am also too tight to fund the Murdoc empire.

I believe the box uses the phone for Pay per view authorisation, but I suspect it also rings Sky with your viewing profile.
