The copper was let off but the woman quite rightly sued the Police dept and got $60,000 - Yank justice. No wonder the police behave like this if they keep getting away with it!!!

You will also find on this forum many people make fun of me being Welsh - doesn't bother me in the slightest!!!

I have loads of Yank friends - on both sides of the pond!!!

Do a bit more searching and you will also see I have often said that we are far closer to the Yanks than any of the Europeans - just see what I say about the Krauts or the Frogs!!!

Anyway I wasn't getting at Yanks in general - only the Police and ours are going the same way!!!

C'mon Cod! Admit it! You LIKE getting after us Yanks a bit! We can take it though, have been ever since the Boston Tea party! In regards to the Police officer in this instance he was totally over the top, throwing his "weight/authority/badge" around, what ever happened to checking the facts? My god a whole ten dollars, such a crime, the Wendy's crew is lucky they weren't all shot for such a misdeed, hardened criminals all apparently. The girl was being a somewhat typical mouthy teenager and should have just kept her mouth shut, that notwithstanding, the cop was a major... shall I say it? I think I will, ASS!!! God help the person who really does something wrong around this guy, they'll be shot dead over jaywalking. What a JERK!!
I know a lot of good cops, I have also seen many cases of idiots abusing their authority, they serve the public, and shouldn't be going off halfcocked when they carry a gun!
