In the scale of things it's no great shakes. Not worth the hassle trying to tow it back, and easier to sink it. If it had been closer to home it would have been a different story. Reminds me when the Americans were pushing Hueys off the decks of a carrier after Vietnam. Seems a crying shame - but they needed the space.
