Anyway, did these "chavs" do anything in particular to warrant their stereotyping and "talking to" as there are plenty of people using Portsmouth Harbour who choose not to wear lifejackets!

with the greatest respect, any large group of 13 yr + plus teens swigging lambrini, shouting vile language in front of kids and the familys on the beach on a total shed of boat after crossing the entrance not even using the small boats passage was good enough for me -

Whilst I can see that there was bit of a lack of safety gear can any one see how flat the sea was?
Was there really a hazard here?
Did any one get hurt?
Did they break down?

All for doing things right but surely a bit of slack can be cut to the chaps out on a day out. - Suggesting that they might like to get out of the main channel and go over to the Gosport shore perhaps

Incidentally, I hear there was a round the island event at the weekend populated by some of the very same highly opinionated 'world police' and that the general navigation ability, and subsequent safety was appauling! If it hadn't been for one or two more 'switched on' ribbers going along (or leading), we'd have had stories of lower units lost on Bembridge ledge and the like! So how about shaming some of your own! I've encounteres about three different definitions....
1. Council House And Violent

Class has nothing to do with ones bank account.

As you stated lots of these types do have many trappings or perceived trappings of affluence. But the fact they can finance a Bentley GT does not for second mean they can act and or behave in a like minded fashion.

As a result I feel being a CHAV or peasant is all down to how one conduct ones self. And yes that include the tracksuits worn by people who would not know exercise if it came up and kicked there flabby butt.
