They shouldn't seeing as you have a full tank strapped under the car already. The only people who may stop you is customs but if it's at the bottom of the boot they rarely pull everything out to look unless they think your a proper rascal with something to hide. Anyway, bring it empty, marine fuel is much cheaper here.

Be warned that it may cost more with a bike on top of the car as the fast cat has limited headheight for most of it's car deck.

Local knowledge

I'm also heading to Jersey this summer for a week, staying in the NE of the island and was looking for some tips on where to launch.
I have a 3.8 sib with launch wheels, which I'm taking in the back of my car.
So, does anyone know of any good spots for launching, parking with facilities (the in-laws are coming as well and they like to sit on the beach near a cafe).
Also are there any local rules / laws regarding Launching?

St. Catherines breakwater is the best place. It has a slipway, parking and a nice cafe that's open all day. There are no particular regulations with launching as far as I'm aware.
