Broke the glass on the screen the other day. It still works OK for now, but looks a bit crap. Apple will swap me for a brand new iPhone for 140 but I think I'll just stick with the beat up look for now!

Don't know. I did ask whether I could upgrade at the same time, but they'll only do a like for like swap which is a shame!

If you are going with the usual O2 contracts , the Carphone Warehouse has them " off the shelf " . Just bought one for work .

I don't think it's unreasonable. It's just a lot of money to spend on a cosmetic fix that isn't actually necessary.

The Apple shop will even exchange it there and then so you're not without a phone which is pretty handy.

I've just cracked mine so I can use the internet tethering feature which works really well. O2 have just offered me a new 3GS although not sure if I'll take it - this one has lasted nearly a year now and apart from several dead pixels is still good as new.

What are other people paying for their iPhone contracts? I'm sure I'm paying over the odds at around 100 a month.

So I guess the crack is pretty small then .. I just mentioned, since its the only interface for operating the device, and pretty fundamental therefor.

45 all in everything and think that's a lot, but it is a business phone and they pay the bill
