Hi Graeme

I am having the same problem and I strongly suspect that it is a spyware / Adware problem but I haven't a clue how to get rid. suspect we need some software to get rid of it but I am reluctant to download anything at the moment in case i drop myself further into the brown and smelly guess I'll just have to keep watching this thread for a computer wizard to sort it out

If you think your having a spyware/adware problem download Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/

It detects and removes spyware etc..

Thanks to everyone........

...........for their help and advice which was most appreciated yeaterday during a spell that found me somewhat exhasperated at being unable to understand this damn thing I find myuself attached to for hour upon hour each day - thank you.

A very special thanks to Bruce who PM'd me and took me through a recovery system which has restored my PC back to where it once was. Cheers mate.
