Help with new rib

A bloke I met is selling this, he say's it's a SR3.79

It has taken my fancy as I am in need of a tender and it is finished in our National Colours. However, to get her presentable, I need to effect a repair and I need your help...

Where can I get white duct tape to sort that bodged toob patch the guy has made?

A cut n' shut job might sort it. Perhaps a Wetline front end.

A couple of years ago I was heading out for a dive, when I stopped in the parking lot to chat with another boat diver friend. I commented about how soft one side of the boat was, and he replied it was because it wouldn't hold air if he pumped it up any more than that. Eventually he showed me his latest repair: a quarter inch long split patched up with duct tape. That repair was left on for at least three weeks; don't know what happened after that (I suppose the boat may have sank somewhere, but I don't recall a report of an abandoned pickup truck and trailer.)
