Eruption warning

Today warning was given out by the Icelandic authorities that any of our three main volcanos Hekla, Grímsvötn and Katla may start eruption at any time without much of a notification as there are some signs of increased lava pressure underneath.

Is there a threat to Life or is this something you have on a regular basis?

Well it all depends on which one starts Hekla is the one that we can say will be most threatening to people and there is only 4 years since last eruption and last three has been rather small and not threatening. Grímsvötn which is located under the glacier Vatnajökull is not serious one but Katla will probably be big when she starts she hasn´t explode for over a century.

We look forward to have some action on the volcanos as it attracts lot of people and if it is Hekla it is less than 20 minutes drive from my home to have a magnificent view towards Hekla during the night (in good visability)

You can get some nice shots at night. If you have the chance it will be nice to see them.
