how much is am M3 now, 50K? If it had paint like that I'd take it back not spend a 1000 cleaning it!

Under normal light the paint would look fine. Its when you put it under spot lights you can see the imperfections.
Some where on detailing world is a thread about a lad who did his Vauxhall, he gave it 50 odd coats of wax and clean all the hinges with cotton buds!
