Audio Leads

I'm hoping the RIBnet can help me find somewhere to source the following cable loom

10x - 1/4" trs jack to 2x 1/4" mono jacks (Common Sleave).

It needs to be about .5m long and half decent quality.

Thanks

Couldn't you just buy a regular 3.5mm -> phono cable and put a TRS adaptor on the end?

Edit: I don't have a clue what I'm talking about. What do you mean by 10x?

I basically need ten Y leads with a stereo 1/4" jack on one end and two mono 1/4" jacks on the other.

Its to be used with a mixing desk to connect a 10ch soundcard to the inserts on each channel.

You can buy the bits from Maplin's and bring em down th eunit and I'll make the Multicore up for you, it will take about two hours.

You can buy CPC stuff over the counter also in Southampton, It's near the Nursling Roundabout next to the Harley garage and it's called Keneddys, Does the Mixing Desk have XLR connections. Also known as Neutrik or Cannon connectors. Cos if it does I have about a lot of cannon connectors I don't need

what makes the sound card!

CPC have a cable - £10 each!

Unfortuantly the inserts aren't XLRs, just the main inputs and group outputs.

Stuart, thanks for the offer. I was thinking of making it myself but i'm not sure how i'm going to get two cables in the end of a jack connector, they all seem to be designed for the width of one cable. Will have to go down to Maplin and try and stuff two cables in one.

More of a box than card really - Its an Edirol FA-101 (Roland) 10channel firewire box. Pretty cool little box.

Doh you use thin cable!

Stoodio spares make an excellent low loss high Kwality Ali foiled mic cable which is about a third of a centimetre in diameter. It's also lovely cable to work with!
