£4.55 well spent!

I like to have a paper diary (as well as my iPaq) but didn't bother this year until I found out that the RYA diary contains a year's tide tables for Dover, Harwich, Plymouth and Portsmouth, along with secondary port info.

I've just received it in the post, and as well as the tide tables, it's got loads of other useful stuff shipping forecast area maps, beaufort scale definitions and a world atlas at the back.

£4.55? Bargain!

Well, the tide table section is printed on very good quslity paper, but you might find it's not great on an open boat. And the A5 sized world maps might not have quite the detail that your GPS mapping has!

Handy to have in the office when I haven't got an almanac to hand.
