Milan,

We're driving down from Warwickshire on Sat. night and launching at camber dock, portsmouth.
The slip is big enough for your boat and all tidal.
From there its about a 20 minute run over to Cowes where we've got a room booked in the Duke Of York for saturday night and will put the boat in Cowes Marina for the night.
We have thought about the Ibis before, but arn't too happy about leaving the boat on its trailer in the carpark overnight.

If you wan't to launch and cross with us your more than welcome. Drop me a pm and we'll exchange mobile numbers.
Harry.

The number for the Duke of York is 01983 295171 and i believe they have 1 double room free.

Harry, great post

Milan if you are stuck, we have a long sofa and a spare sleeping bag so send pm if you need no-star accommodation (basic!). As you are travelling from afar!

Bon Voyage Martin, keep the boat in the middle of the river, less the Missus realises how close to Harrods you are

It looks like "The Commodore" is no longer coming (shame, he was looking forward to it) but we have filled his slot already. Just hope the weather doesn't worsen too much, if it does I'm stealing a yacht or summat!
