Lists? Who needs lists! I shall provide everybody with all the info they need to know:

On the 2nd of October 2005, some ribs will be out in the Solent. The ribs shall be many and various, and possibly even devious. If you see a rib in the solent, and you are a ribber, please go over and start following them, as they may be going to yarmouth. If the rib you end up following doesn't end up in Yarmouth, hey, at least you got on the water!

If it does end up in Yarmouth, go up to the driver and say "Hi, I'm from Ribnet, my name is..." The driver then has 3 options:

1) Look at you like you're a nutter, in which case go off and find the actual ribnet crowd in yarmouth

2) Think "This guy's a nutter" but humour you and buy you a drink, in which case, hey, free drink!

3) Say, "Hi my name is The Jackeens/Pete/Jimbo/Rich/Tim/Carly/Nasher/Olly/Mark/Lurcher/Whoever I've forgotten from Ribnet", in which case, result!

There, that's the day in a nutshell, who needs lists!

Jimbo, what are you like

In reality, rounding up us RIBnetters in the right place and somewhere within three hours of the right time is like herding cats

Bejaysus Slimtim, you don't have to get up 'till ten to one. You've time for a big brekkie and a second snooze!
Final list in its extreme finality and last format of the day to follow...

Slimtim's boat...may have to send a delegation to inspect!

Considering the nip in the air...we were thinking of bringing some light refreshments on board (special request for croissants ! Mebbe a flask of coffee....and something a little stronger for crew! Various choccy items are also popular if anyone's down the supermarché today ! Or you may spot other delicacies!)

We will rendez-vous in The King's Head in Yarmouth
(cashpoint nearby ). @ 40 peeps expected.

Usual RIBnet courtesies apply : casual cruise : skippers responsible for their own crafts and crew; side by side / formation cruising recommended and a general ethos of looking after each other!

Please check the above for inaccuracies. Many thanks.

DJL (Daniel) big thanks for checking weather

Olly see ya at Church meet to hear the full tale !
