Weather

Hope fully the weather should be fine. Am a bit worried about the batteries going flat at the moment with the bilges running with all this rain.

Dont really want to get down there and find it all flooded.

Richard what time did you get home then. Must have been late. Did you get a taxi to Lyminghton as well.

Our little boat in Devon has an automatic bilge pump and keeps a battery going for about 2-3 months after a full charge (although that's with a cover on). Might be an idea to 'phone the marina staff to check everything's OK - they go walkabout from time to time to check things and move boats around.

If you have a boat stuck in Weymouth, you are best picking it up sooner rather than later. Bertie our weather man has indicated that hurricaine Kylie is going to hit the South coast of the UK late Saturday early Sunday.

hi Richard

We are doing a write up for the Weymouth Weekend for Riblines. Dad was wondering if you had any photos of us all at the evening meal that he can add to the article. He thinks you took some of his speech etc.

Julian,

I did take some pics at the dinnner, and of speeches, but they didn't come out particularly well. I'll put them on a CD over the weekend and send them so you can make your own judgement on them!

Rich.

Hi Richard

That would be great. Many thanks. Jools has got some of the boats so we should get a good mix. If you think of any where you would like to go in the next few months let me know and we can organise a winter run.
