Well I took them out as promised, only we got to the Needles and on to the South side of the Island and I did not like the look of the water and the forcast increase in wind.
Not wanting to frighten them later in the day, we went up to the Folly instead. Good food and excellent service.
However, when we got back to Hurst and Christchurch Bay, it were a bit lumpy! The Rib handled it well, dont know about the rest on board tho! Saw a lovely Redbay 8.3(?) also fighting its way back.
Will wait for better tides for the Ventnor trip

Hi Steve was also out in the bay & gave up halfway to Hurst on the reasoning that if I was airbourne & trying to avoid the breaking waves coming out of the harbour channel at the run - it would be no fun at all on the way back !
