Hi all, just like to say we had a fantastic day and a big thankyou to the organiser's. can't wait till the next one! Just a thought but has anyone considered a marina hopping trip over a long weekend, using the rib to camp on whilst in a marina? all you need is a tarpaulin and some willpower!! I do this quite often and is good fun and cheap.....ish......kind of back to nature camping trip for petrol heads who like nice loo's and hot showers!!

Fuel Figures

Sounds like you all had a fantastic time. For those of us who did not attend, any possibility of a few fuel consumption figures from those that did attend!

biggest boat there with us for the first leg burns 50 gallons or more an hour of unleaded, but he had to head back to brighton

when we fill up will post the fuel used if that helps, unfortunately did not clock the miles but we went from
portsmouth to calshot
calshot round iow to yarmouth
yarmouth to priory bay
priory bay to portsmouth
so a good few miles i expect

Thanks for a great trip. Really enjoyed it. Looking forawrd to the next one! Whilst it was not exactly a mutiny, my crew decided that he wanted to go back to Lymington when you all went to Yarmouth, so sorry I could not meet more of you face to face so to speak - next time
Bedajim - I am so deeply impressed, I think that we took enough of a hammering in a 5.5, you two must be supper human. Very glad to hear that permission has been granted. Now if you will only tell me how you did it..........
Matt h, you are welcome; hope you managed to get sufficient at Yarmouth. Now what's going on next week end
