It was a great day, weather was superb and wind only slight and quite a reasonable trip water wise with just the usual places where it roughs up.

The day was made all the better by all the great folks that came along and some travelled some serious distances, thanks to everyone for joining in.

the pwllheli travellers were out in force again

some of the folks travelled from London, Stoke on Trent (left at 2 am), Midlands, Peterborough, switzerland! and many other places, sorry if i missed anyone who travelled a huge way.

Big thanks to the big ocean and big Osprey that helped keep an eye on the smaller boats round the tricky stuff and leading the way in many areas,

i think we did calshot round to yarmouth in around 2 and a bit hours, which was not bad as we were taking it fairly easy....well i think we did!!!

there were some young travellers on the trip, our 3 and 5 yr old and some other little ones as well and they all seemed to enjoy it, although it took a bit of time for them to appreaciate it after a bit of blubbing in the rougher bits.

lots of unexpected guests and that huge powerboat was awsome, did anyone get a pic of it?

i am crap with names so sorry if i did not remember as getting very old!!

thanks to everyone and hope all got home safe

Just got home, safe and sound apart from needing a new windscreen and a new a-frame (or at least some serios repairs)! All mishaps occurred on land (why do they put height barriers on car parks you park your trailer in once the boat is slipped!!!)

Fantastic day - Chris thanks for organising, it was brill!

Night all

Neil

PS - forgot to say bye to all on the beach before I swam out to boat, then meant to when I picked Karen up but boat was getting swamped!

Good to meet you all and put some faces to a few more names.

Hopefully will not be too bad. Must have been too relaxed after such a great day - just did not think. Still, at least my dad can't criticise, he took two bikes off a roof rack going into a car park once - and he had put them up there! The a-frame needed some mods anyway, so it's hopefully just a couple more welds, adn I may have it done in such a way that it becomes detachable!!!
