Yes. At 08h45 you have to be a support boat for me. The meeting point is off Yarmouth. I will be in the white and blue 24 foot V24 getting ready for a record attempt. That was the only important thing discussed in the previous 18 pages of thread.

Then at about 10h00 you can go meet up with the other ribbers outside Cowes..

There is a chance that it can still occur. They are predicting West North West wind Saturday - which would mean calmer waters.... Hopefully.

Suggested previously Tim that it might be better just to head for the Folly? December is not great for hanging around out there, counting & checking. But skippers are contacting each other directly to arrange buddy-boating etc. Have a look back to the previous list to check where peeps are launching/leaving from.

Ian, it's great that you will make it. We'll repeat-post the most recently edited list and any other info after some post-work grub!

Any latest weather updates?

Okay,

For anyone that is interested Nos4r2 and I are meeting up at Bursledon Tesco at 0750 hrs for Breakfast at 0800 hrs. I spoke to tesco today and they assured me the cafe is open frojm 0800 hrs. Parking should be okay at the rear car park under the trees. Only problem is that there is no line of site from the cafe to the boats. Any volunteers to stand guard And I'm not too sure how easy it is to manouvere with big boats Maybe Benc could give us the run down on that one.
Then its get to Warsash for 0900 hrs and hopefully set off at 0930 hrs.
Depending on the conditions a couple of us are going to zoom down to Pompey to meet with the guys coming from that direction. We are looking to be there for 1030 hrs.
Then its on to the Folly via a bit of messing around.

Petrol is available at this Tesco.

I don't have any route details as my Autoroute doesn't work at the moment. But I'm sure you can do a search on the web for further details

Exiting the M27 for this Tesco and the route when you leave involves a bit of hill work. Nothing to major but I usually avoid it by going to the next exit.
