Is launching from Appledore a possibility? Does anyone know the distance from there, if the slip is free and anything about parking? Must get myself an Almanac!

Its free to launch from but you have to pay for 2 parking spaces (1 for the car and 1 for the trailer). Get the tides right or there is no way to launch or retrieve at LW. Distance is 13 miles each way

Sorry must have missed this. Appledore is a good to launch and there is ample parking for car and trailer at the top of the slip.
