any local info on either of those sites?
If we leave from Fal we can hook-up with you guys at PZ on the way through. I wouldn't launch out of Hayle, if you don't get your boat nicked off of the slip and make it past the sand bar, pirates will have you in St.Ives Bay. It's dodgy over that way.

Should we check with 'What the F's up'? He might recommend that we launch from Rock rather than the M25. Or, maybe Ilfracombe will be even less busy.
Yep - she finishes next weekend and I'm off work for the following fortnight
We haven't made any plans, so if the weather's ok, we could pop down and join you for this one. Always fancied a run to the Scillies, but it's never really happened.
What about Randski, Parkesy, Sticky, et al?

Where are you seeing that Sticky? Just checked Metcheck, not looking too sharp. Metcheck is giving forecasts upto the 15th which is crap. Hopefully it'll improve in the meantime.
Are you on for the 15th Sticky?

Monthly Summary

More rain at times. Perhaps better from mid July.

The British Summer is often described as 'two fine days and a thunderstorm'. Neither last summer, nor this current one have really demonstrated this trait so far.
This looks about to change early this week as very warm and humid air, drawn up from France, should trigger some significant storms.

The humid air won't last long though as the weather pattern reverts to the changeable westerly type we've been used to for so long.

So once again many people will be wondering when the Summer is about to start.
My answer (at the moment at least) is - 'wait until mid July'. This is when the weather looks like it could settle down, bringing a much better second half to July.
Shaggy
