Had a great few days in cornwall. good to meet up with a select few of the local ribnetters.

huge thanks to sticky for escorting us to the scillies, had a good crossing with enough swell to make it fun without beating us senseless. definitely worth another trip, maybe stay over for a night if the weather looks stable.

Tis shagged

I rang Robin C who said that as long as there is oil in the box don't worry about it or pay them £1800 for a new one..

I can get a new lower unit from the US shipped, VAT and Import Duty (around 2.7% if I got it right) for £800

However me job is looking dodgy at the moment so need to keep hold of the little pennies I have left (although I suspect the tax man will want them and more).

I also need to look at the cable steering as there is play in that, and the tiller connecting to the steering rod is heavily corroded, so she needs some TLC to get her ship shape again..

From observing Mollers' lifestyle, I thought the weekend started on Saturday and lasted until Friday........but this only happens once a week

The boys are planning travelling across on Thursday am and back on Sunday, so, while the journeys to/from the mainland should be dry, the time spent playing on & between the Islands looks to be rainy

There's a very, very slight chance of a bit on Fri, the rest is good. Who's coming then?
