Alex, thanks for getting the ball rolling and on organizing this trip. I'm pretty sure you had an agreement with the Big guy above on booking the weather for the day.
Saturday I found myself with a problem. I thought I was just going to replace one length of hose to solve a fuel transducer problem, but on removal I found quite a bit of debris stuck in the end of the fuel transducer hose tail
This warranted a further strip down and flush though and installation of a pre-filter late on Saturday afternoon.
Sunday, Andre and Tim (AKA: gtb) and myself set off to launch at Haslar. We met up with Swedishjedi at the lightship and set course for No Mans Land Fort. It was an impressive sight watching 30+ RIBs gunning their way towards us. I captured nearly the entire circumnavigation (until the battery died off Cowes) of video footage, Over the coming days I'll edit it down to a sensible length, I've had a quick peek and there are some great shots
The only thing that remains to be said is that it was and real pleasure to cruise with such a lovely bunch of people, it was great to meet up with old friends and new alike and thanking everyone that made this cruise possible.
