The second day we took the second drop of the day at 11 ish down onto lock ness, we only just made it to Inverness before the locks closed that day.
Some say that they have done it in a day, but that can't be if it's busy or if the locks aren't ready for you and lifting or dropping in the direction that you want to go...
you forgot the speeding part for 1 Day part - I know it has been done, it helps if you have a British waterway official on board and they radio ahead
- but two days I believe is the normal.
I took the road option, Dad brought my trailer to Inverness after launching at Corpach, I was doing safety cover for the week along the canal/lochs for traditional sailing/rowing boats.
