There's a big RIBraid every year that scoots to Scotland from Bangor...

Your Redbay would fit in well

Ards sailing club I guess have a lot to do with it. They seem to have a large committee.

Here's 2004 site http://www.ribraid.com/indexflash.htm

It's a huge annual event. Paul went on Gavin & Tim's boat this year and the weather was amazing. Gavin knows a lot about it and logs on here.

Craig,

Congrats on new boat. I'm in much the same situation having recently upgraded to RB6.5.

Did you buy new?..Any pics of the boat?

If you liase with Gary or Tom in Redbay they will be able to help. There is at least one major trip solely for Redbay users.

There has been some talk on Ribnet about a trip to Corryveckan...Watch this space...

Happy boating

redbay run to Ardbeg

I think the club thing you are taking about is the annual redbay run to Ardbeg on Islay, it was cancelled this year due to bad weather. Look on www.redbayboats.com for further information. Good luck with the boat.
