Solent trip Saturday

Kevin (A.Y) and Joyce and possibly Andre/Wiesia? are also coming out on Saturday...leaving ECA with Ribald around 9.30 - 10.00; hopefully acquiring us with Zebedee passing Pompey and then on to see QM2 ...then lunch and home again !!!!(weather permitting etc.)
So with possibly Hairybear, Ribtickler & gang and maybe some returnees might be quite a crew...
Anyone else interested? Pete 7 what are you up to ? Waver...you back yet? R&L put away the Stella & come back...!!!! Any of you NWR around? How about the Bosses?

Is QM2 going to be at her berth, the Lunchtime Meridian News reported two people in Hospital which involved transfering the two unluckly people at Sea. Which indicates QM2 still might be at Sea tomorrow.

Weather Permitting we shall be out tomorrow.

Hi Paul

We had planned to leave Northney 10:00, will be monitoring Channel 77. Should meet up on route to QM2 if she is there.

Still plan to test the beer in a few of the watering holes in Cowes afterwards.

Kevin.

B*gg*r

I have just ahd a word with the S'ton Harbourmaster who has said the QM2 is due to sail tonight @ 1800h and will not be back in until the evening of the 4th (Sunday). She's then out again and back again during the coming week and as far as they are aware she will be on her berth from the 6th to the 12th.

The best laid plans of mice and men.........

Perhaps Missus could have a word and use her new found influence to get them to delay the trip tonight for us.

Missed the boat

Hi All,

That is typical, Although the trip tommorow is still on, try a different venue once we have met up with everyone.

Hairybear, you should have enough water to come down under Hayling Road Bridge and up to ECA via Langstone Water, will save you quite a bit of time.

Once clear of the old railway bridge you can get on the plane keep it to a minimum and follow the channel bouys.

Paul & Kathleen will meet you on the way out of Pompey Harbour, will call at 10:00 on Channel 77.

see you all tomorrow.

What time is everyone meeting at Cowes?

Leaving at 10:00 we should be OK for leaving via Langstone, keeping it on the plane

See you all tomorrow somewhere in the Solent.
