Poole/Cowes/Solent etc wed 17/8-fri 19/8

Bit of a weather window coming up this week so I'm looking at a possible channel crossing to the general area for a nose round.

Anyone else jobless/on holiday/retired/skiving going to be around?

I guess 250kts will be out for the air show as well?

Sure to be several of the local suspects out each day. (Saturday looks best so far, however). Fireworks on both Friday (normal Bournemouth summer) and Saturday (air show). May or may not be able to speak to 250kts owing to comms problems (!) who will doubtless be out there and he always waves nicely

The weather has changed very slightly, I may leave a bit later, maybe thursday and back saturday
