Any alternatives to Camber? I see others are launching from Lymington but Boat Launch has a number of slips listed - which one is favoured and what about parking availability and costs (with trailer)?

For the Lymington slip you can park in the pay and display and buy enough tickets for car and trailer for the total time required. Parking attendant is quite used to it. Alternatively most people park on a nearby side street with no problems, area quite safe.

I'll ask at my boat yard and see what they would charge for the night.

With that many fast ribs crossing the Channel in a pack the French may think they are being invaded and could send out their Navy to intercept us. I think we should carry some gifts just in case. Any ideas?
