Hi all, I don't want to jump to conclusions but it looks like we are going from Whitby to Staithes and back on the 15th?

Is this right?

Thanks
Lee

Go further if they's a few of us. Whitby to Staithes won't take long.

Nice to be back

Hey-up, I'm back, and boy have I missed me RIB! Are any of you still up for Whitby to Staithes and back or maybe a little further if the conditions are ok. I can deffinitely make Saturday the 15th or Sunday 16th. The tide times look good so I'm going to try to get there for between eight and nine in the morning. I know Humber Tiger is busy that weekend but I am sure we will be able to arrange other outings with him. Hope he has a great time in Anglesey.

Tasha wasn't it?

Was a good run out even if the weather was a bit pants:

Berwick on Tweed to Whitby

Strong winds are forecast
Inshore waters forecast
24 hour forecast: 0700 Sat 15 Aug 0700 Sun 16 Aug

Wind Southwest 4 or 5, increasing 5 to 7 later.
Sea state Slight or moderate.
Weather Rain then showers.
Visibility Moderate or poor, becoming good.

Will be good to do it again, got the transducer mounted so its ready for the water now.

Hi JSP, Sorry you missed it too, we had a great day and it would have been great to meet you. I do plan on coming over to your side of the country ASAP if we can get some dates and a few others interested. Let me know if you are up for it.

Daughters Name

Hi guys, my daughters name is Natacha, but she answers to tacha, sprog or squirt!
We had a great day thanks, and we both caught the sun.
Lots of ice cream and a nice stroll around Whitby after.

I checked the float chamber of the outboard when I got home; it had a lot of sediment in it. The jets were clean.
I gave the fuel filter a clean as well (a few bits of crud in there as well).

I will talk with the nice people at Humber A.S.A.P. about the Zodiac.
I need to get the Zodiac fixed as my diving associates and I are planning another trip out to Dogger Bank next year and the Zodiac is our chase boat.

I look forward to the next outing and to the return of my Crompton!!

Lee
