Dunkirque

Anyone know of local accomodation in Dunkirque?

Doing a crossing from Ramsgate to Dunkirque bank holiday Sunday and returning Monday. Berthing in Yacht Club Mer du Nord (tba), Port Est.

As a last resort could pitch a tent on the beach but dunno if that would cause problems with the local Gendarme.

Any advice or experiences welcome.
TTFN.
Tim'mers.

I used to travel through Dunkerque every week on business. There are
several of the 'cheap & modern' variety of hotels around Dunkerque. The nearest (adjacent to the mariner) according to Autoroute 2005 is :-

Europ Hôtel
13 Rue du Leughenaer
59140
Dunkerque
France
Tel: +33 3-28662907

Hope it helps

Cheers
Scott

Change of plan. Launching hastles at Ramsgate mean a change of plan. Now going from Dover. Leaving Dover Western about 10.30.
