Cruise - Brittany

Hi All,
We are towing our 6.8m Rib to our base in Benodet in Brittany this August 17th - 30th and wondered if anyb0dy else might be planning the the same or similiar. Plan to visit the Glenans and Belle Ile amongst other places. Anybody else of the same mind ?? Mark

Hi Mark - If you look at my other cruising thread "La Turballe, France" you'll see that we will be in France at the same time - but the other side of Quiberon to you. Maybe we'll meet up at the Belle Isle some time? Trevor

Hi Trevor,
Yes, perhaps we could speak about doing this - are you plans already made in respect of dates and so on or are you going to do this at the time ? Mark

Our travel dates to and from France are fixed. We usually stay on the same camp site in La Turballe that we have used for the last 6 years - but other than that our day-to day plans are flexible and depend very much on the weather! Last year the big storms from the Atlantic definitely dictated our ribbing agenda.
Are there many camp sites and slips in Benodet area?
Last year we were looking for other areas to stay so maybe we could camp in the Benodet area at the end of our stay in France as it is sort of on the way back to St Malo from La Turballe.
