Marine Court Hotel

Registration at Nelsons Bar 4-8 pm
8pm to late Reception in Nelsons Bar, Irish dancing, live entertainment and supper

Saturday 30 july 2005
10.30 -12.30 more registerations
1.pm very important safety briefing for Copelands Islands Cruise

1.30 pm Dragon boat race Bangor marina
5.00 pm Cruise to the Copelands Islands
6.30pm back to Donaghadee Harbour
7.00pm Zapcat racing in harbour, followed by BBQ and prize giving in Ocean Drive, BBQ 7.30pm with live music
9.00pm Ribraid returns to Bangor marina

Sunday 31 july 2005
9.00 to 10.00 final registration in Marine Court
10.00 till 11.00 safety briefing tea /coffee
12.15 musters outside Bangor marina and onwards to Donaghadee Harbour
12.30pm arrive and musters at Donnaghadee
1.30pm Portpatrick Lifeboat leads group into harbour in Scotland.
2.30 to 4.30 traditional suppers served in Portpatrick
4.30 to 5.00pm group leaves Scotland to return to Donaghadee
6.00pm everyone arrives back in Donaghadee for awards, Perpetual cup,prize giving, and party with live music and homemade Irish Stew........

Three of us (3 ribs, 4-5m with 40-60hp) were thinking of coming out to meet the group heading to Portpatrick. We would be coming from Port Logan. None of us have crossed the Irish Sea yet so this would go some way to building our confidence. Would it be OK to do so?

Where is Port Logan, I am just wondering could I link you up with someone else travelling, a bigger boat and come to Bangor for the whole thing, a 4m Avon Searider have made the crossing, and two Zapcats, size no problem
