Hi Guys,

Great idea as all the Ribnet cruises seem to be during daylight hours. I've got a spot with Benc, should be really good experience to actually 'navigate' for once!

there is an awful lot of boats on the water that night, mostly under the influence of booze so be careful! also if yo must do it then go via Yarmouth and the Needles first

Good call, I tend to think about going that way anyway for some reason

That's top quality advice. If you head west from Cowes you'll be away from the riffraff in ten minutes.

Not sure that I'd intentionally make a night passage round the back of the island - there's a lot of junk in the water! If there's a lot of cloud cover you might want to consider your options...

Anyway, have a good passage and stay well offshore.

Well, the other option would be a cruise to poole... or brighton... just want to do something at night, all cruises are during the day, but it would be good to do something a bit different

Really appreciate the advise guys

What date is Cowes Fireworks? (Yeah, I know I'm not on the ball this season ) Given a good forecast, I might just get an overnight pass-out!
