Congrat's to everyone on making it back safely , after seeing the outbound conditions on the vid im glad i did'nt go as in a 4.8 it would have felt like Neptune himself had picked me up & shaken me about for 5/6hrs , as Mrs7 said we/i "need a bigger boat"

Loved the write up Pete, but you haven't left anything for Kathleen to write about.

How did you change the prop at Sea, use two or more RIBs as platforms or hange over the blunt end?

Hung over the back end, which just happened to to face directly into the waves. Paul jumped on board to give moral support and we prayed nothing dropped into the oggin

Here are a few more pictures showing the calm conditions on return. I am looking forward to getting the video done, will try and crack on with a vengeance.

I fancied coming up from Jersey to meet you all, but chickened out when I heard the forecast and I'm only half the distance away. You must all be mad

I'd like to have experienced those sea conditions, but not for 6 Hours

How did JustLooking's Ribcraft 5.85 compare to the Jackeen's Solent 6.5 in those seas. I'm contemplating an upgrade to a 6.5 if its a worthwhile improvement

Must admit I'm waiting for some comparisons. Sounds like ideal testing conditions.

Pete well done with the prop change. I was considering carrying a drysuit so i could go swimming to do any future prop changes.

Regards Nick.
